ASHBURTON WOMEN’S CLUB. The following is the draw for the third grade (extra score) to be played by members of the women’s section of the Ashburton Golf Clu-b to-morrow Mrs A. Horsey with Miss P. Ferrier, Mrs A. Clark with Miss M. Findlay, Mrs L. E. Carter with Miss B. Muirliead. METHVEN DEFEATS LAKE COLERIDGE. The Methven Golf Club played a match against Lake Coleridge Club on the Mount Harding links at the weekend. The Methven Club won by an overwhelming margin. The following are the details, Methven names being given first in each instance: — G. Waddington beat O’Rorke, H. Farr halved with Worsdale, D. G. Wallace beat Oockburn, J. Temple beat Hart, S. M. Jackson beat Everton, A. R. Gourley beat James, P. Comp eigne beat Cameron. Waddington and Farr lost to O’Rorke and Worsdale, Wallace and Temple beat Cockburn and Hart, Jackman and Gourley beat Everton end James, Compeigne beat Caingron. Mrs A. White beat Miss Mackay, Miss R. Waddington beat Mrs James, Mrs A. Lawrence beat Mrs Miller. Mrs White and Miss Waddington beat Miss Mackay and Mrs James, Mrs Lawrence beat Mrs James.
