FORBURY PARK TROTTING CLUB MEETING ON JUNE 5 PROPOSED. DUNEDIN, May 10. The Forbury Park Trotting Club is making application to hold a race meeting on June 5, in place of the abandoned day of the recent winter meeting. CARELESS RIDING. BROUGHTON SUSPENDED FOR A MONTH. '■ WELLINGTON, May 10. The Wellington district committee to-day considered the appeal of the stipendiary steward, Mr B. N. Sandilands, in the case of W. J. Broughton at Pahiatua on April 10, when the judicial committee of the Pahiatua Jockey Club dismissed a charge against Broughton of careless riding in the Juvenile Handicap. The district committee found Broughton guilty of careless riding, and decided to suspend his license for one month from May 10.
