FENCING.
THE ASHBURTON CLUB. The newly-formed Ashburton Swords and Fencing Club held its first class of instruction on Saturday evening. Mr H. E. Cox (instructor of the Christchurch Swords Club and of the Canterbury College Club) gave thorough instruction in the ground work, members making reasonably good progress.
