BOXING.
THE RAKAIA ASSOCIATION. Mr D: Lynch presided at a meeting •of tli© Rakaia Boxing Association on Wednesday evening. It was decided to hold an amateur tournament of match contests on May 21. The secretary (Mr M. V. Brown) reported that he had made arrangements for a heavyweight bout of six two-minute rounds between A. J. Bourne and R. Raines. It was reported that the newly-formed boxing school promised to be very successful, as several boys were availing themselves of the opportunity to learn boxing.
