POLES AND GERMANS.
THE ALLEGED SECRET TREATY.
SOVIET PRESSURE ON FRANCE.
(United Press Association—Copyright) PARIS, April 23.
"Le Journal" has been quick to find a reason for the publication of alleged Polish-German secret treaty. The newspaper says it is a Soviet political manoeuvre to force France to sign a Russo-Franco Treaty without condition of military co-operation. It adds that the Polish and German story published in provincial newspapers on March 21 was an obvious fake. It is more than a coincidence that it is revived now.
