GOLF.
ASHBURTON CLUB’S OPENING. The Ashburton Golf Club opened its 1935 season this afternoon when conditions were ideal. The attendance of both members and friends was good. A mixed foursome was arranged and the links were in exoellent playing order.
The president (Dr. G, I. Miller) and Mrs Miller entertained players at afternoon tea.
