FLAG MATCH PLAYED. A flag match was played during the week on the Ashburton Croquet Club’s courts between the Ashburton B 1 and Ashburton B2 teams. Cooper 18, Mrs Saunders 17 (jUnfinislied); Mrs Gilchrist 26, Mrs AVilliams 25; Mrs J. Smith 26, Mrs Osman 10; Mis§ Moore 26, Miss Watt 20. Doubles —Mesdames Thompson and Amos 26, Mesdames McEachen and Cowan 10; Mesdames Cooper and Gilchrist 26, Mesdames Saunders and Williams 4; Mrs J. Smith and Miss Moore 25, Mrs Osman and Miss Watt 26. Totals —B2 team 7, B 1 team 1. The B2 team has won the flag competition.
