LUTTRELL BEATS BOLTON. GISBQRNE, March 22. In a scheduled 12-rouud professional boxing bout, Val Luttrell, 13st lib (Hawke’s Bay), knocked cut Jim Bolton, 13st 21b (Masterton) in the fifth round. A right cross to the jaw sent Bolton down, and he failed to get to his feet in time. Before this Luttrell had outclassed his opponent.
