OBITUARY.
MR9 SARAH ANN PRATT (Special to the “ Guardian.”) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The funeral of Mrs Sarah Ann Pratt, an old and respected resident of Christchurch, took place at the Bromley Cemetery yesterday afternoon, the Rev. Otho Fitzgerald conducting the funeral service. Mrs Pratt was the relict of Mr George William Pratt. They arrived at Lyttelton in the Celestial Queen in 1873 and resided in Christchurch for the remainder of their lives. Mrs Pratt is survived, by her seven children—Messrs A. G. Pratt (Pareora), C. F. Pratt (Christchurch), and W. jS. Pratt (Reefton), Mesdames E, Ruddock (Ashburton), C. A. Woods (Redcliffs), J. Munro (Auckland) and E. Ball (Wainoni) —and also by 26 grandchildren and seven great-grand-children.
