BROADCASTING BOARD

LABOUR SEEKS REPRESENTATION (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, This Day. The Wellington Trades and Labour Council has written to the PostmasterGeneral (the Hon. A. Hamilton) suggesting when members of the reconstructed radio broadcasting board are being selected, consideration should be given to representatives from the Labour movement, not because of political views, it is explained, but in fairness in representation. The Labour movement is taking an active interest in education and if in the near future politics are to be broadcast all shades of political opinion should be represented on the" board controlling the broadcasting.
