ON THE HOMEWARD VOYAGE. (Per Press Association.) DUNEKiN, This Day. Rear-Admiral R. E. Byrd's ships Jacob Rupperf and. Bear of Oakland have sailed for Panama via Easter Island, where they will rendezvous for the barquentine to coal from' the steamer. They were given a rousing send-off. Admiral and Mrs Byrd left by train for Wellington. They have not yet decided when they will leave the Dominion for the leader rejoins his ship at Panama.
