SNOW IN BRITAIN.
A WINTRY WEEK-END. (United Press Association— Copyright) LONDON, March 11. A strong and bitter east wind maintained abnormally cold weather oyer the week-end throughout the British Isles. Snow showers occurred in many places in eastern England, and in the Channel Islands, and the temperature remained near «r below freezing point. —British Official Wireless.
