FRENCH FORCES.
RECRUITING FOR THE ARMY. ANOTHER BATTLESHIP PLANNED. (United Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.30 p.m.) PARIS, March 12. The Cabinet has decided that pending the of the mititary service, conscripts will be recruited on April 1 to serve 18 months. Those recruited in October will serve two years. The Government has tabled a _ Bill authorising the building of a 35,000-' ton battleship after January 1, 1037, in addition to that already included in the 1935 proposal enables France to keep within the tonnage fixed by the Washington Naval Treaty.
