THE KING’S SONS.
desired as governors. REQUESTS FROM THE DOMINIONS tUnited Press Association —Copyright). LONDON, March 10. The “Sunday Express” says that the Dominion l*rime Ministers coining to London will ask the King to appoint his sons as Governors-General. Australia wants the Duke of Kent, South Africa the Duke of York and New Zealand the Duke of Gloucester.
There is a strong belief in Court circles that the Duke of York and the Duke of Kent will accept such appointments but that the Duke of Gloucester will not take a governor-general-ship as he is not married. The “Sunday Express” suggests that either Lord Saiikev or Lord Londonderry succeed Lord Willingdon as Viceroy of India.
