ALMOST BLOODLESS VICTORY.
MUCH MUNITIONS EXPENDED. REBEL BARRACKS DESTROYED. (Received This Day, 10.50 a.m.) ATHENS, March 10. The Government advance across the Struma met with little resistance, the rebels withdrawing with a few casualties to await an attack on their mountain strongholds. General Kondylis had an almost bloodless victory which involved a costly and futile expenditure of ammunition. Government ’planes dropped 12 5601 b bombs on Rethymo Barracks. The pilots assert that the barracks were destroyed and many were killed. M. Venizelos threatens reprisals in Crete if Venezelists in Athens are illtreated.
