OPERATIONS IN MACEDONIA. REBELS SAID TO BE FLEEING. •LOYAL FLEET BOMBARDMENT. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) ATHENS, March 10. General Kondylis’ “decisive offensive” in Macedonia began at 6 a.m. with a vast semicircular movement of troops, artillery and aircraft combining. The capture of Serres before nightfall is expected. Many rebels are reported to be throwing down their rifles' and fleeing. Government troops crossed the River Struma.
The'Government fleet bombarded the rebel cruiser Helle at Cava'la, but ceased after an hour, fearing it would damage the town.
