THE MORTGAGE CORPORATION. COUNTY COUNCIL'S PROTEST. In connection with >the National Mortgage Corporation Bill, the Ashburton County Council dispatched the following telegram to the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes) and Messrs J.
