TEN KILLED
TWENTY OTHERS INJURED. EXPLOSION IN AN OIL WELL. CHARGE GOES OFF PREMATURELY. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, March 7. Ten persons were killed and a score injured while witnessing the shooting in of a new oil well at St. George, Utah. A heavy charge of nitroglycerine which was dropped into the hole exploded prematurely. It ripped' the derrick from the moorings and hurled it into the spectators. The blast rocked the countryside for a radius of five miles.
