LADIES' GUILD.

ST. STEPHEN'S ORGANISATION. WORK FOR PARISH HALL. The annual meeting of St. Stephen's Anglican Ladies' Guild was held on Wednesday afternoon, when there was a good attendance. In the absence of the Ven. Archdeacon A. J. Petrie, Mr E. C. Bathurst presided. The following were the officers elected-.—President, Mrs F. Curtis; vice-presidents, Mesdames Trevor, A. J. Petrie and E. Ruddock; secretary, Mrs A. M. Meredith; treasurer, Mrs M. Knox; committee, Mesdames 0. Moore, S. Mitchell, R. Stephenson, Armstrong, Parkin, C. Moor, H. Stephenson, Spedding, Harris, Byrom and W. Childs. It was decided to meet on the first Wednesday in .the month. It was agreed that a parish hall guild should be formed, Mrs H.
