One hundred and forty-one nominations, including one woman candidate, havebeen received for the State election, to be held on March 2. Twelve of the 63 seats in the Legislative Assembly will be uncontested, lhe members returned without opposition include the Premier (Sir S. S. Argyle), the Minister of Lands (Mr A. A. Dunsfcan) and the Leader of the Country Party (Brigadier the Hon. M. Bouvchier). The parties represented by the candidates are: United Australia Paity 43, Labour 39, Country Party 32, others 27.
