AIR FORCE BALLOON ADRIFT. (United Press Association—Copyright). LONDON, October 26. A balloon belonging to the Royal Air Force flying school at Larkhill, while taking part in divisional manoeuvres on Salisbury Plain, broke from its mooring cable in a violent gust of wind and drifted 80 miles before the pilot, a Staff Officer who was on board, brought it safely to earth.
