BULLET WOUND IN HEART.
YOUNfTMAN’S TRAGIC END. (Per Press Association). ’ MARTQN, June 1. Unusual circumstances were attached to the death of a young man at Turakina on Thursday night, Roy Podjur- / sky, aged 19,' being found dead with a bullet wound in the heart. It appears that deceased was engaged to a young lady, and apparently, had taken exception to her friendliness toward another young man. He left the house of the girl’s parents at 8.30 p.m., and went to the house of a friend to borrow a gun “to kill a cat.” He returned to the home of his fiancee, and just opposite the house shot himself in .the heart, the trigger being released by a. strap tied to a fence. _ When found lie was wearing on his. little finger an engagement ring, Apparently returned by his fiancee.
