THE FRENCH CHAMPIONSHIPS. SOME SEMI-FINALS PLAYED. (United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Day, 9.30 a.m.) PARIS, May 31. The French lawn tennis championships were continued to-day, with the following results:— Singles l —Semi-finals: Crawford (Australia) defeated Boussus (France), 6-3, 2- 7-5, 6-4; Von Cramm (Germany) defeated Stefani (Italy), 3-6, 6-4, 6-1, 3- 6-2. Women’s Singles —'Semi-final: Miss Scriven (England) defeated Fraulein Aussem (Germany), 7-5, 6-3. Mixed Doubles—Quarter-final: Madame Henrotin (France) and Andrews (New Zealand defeated Mdlle. Couquerque (France) and Thomhs (England), 0-6, 6-4, 6-4.
