WOMEN CLAP AT VERDICT.
MAN ACQUITTED OF MURDER. SEQUEL TO DEATH OF SON. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) PERTH, This Day. ■There was ah unprecedented scene in the Criminal Court when the jury returned a verdict of not guilty, . on the grounds of unsoundness of mind, in the case in which Laurence Mollor ivas charged with having murdered his son. , When the foreman delivered the verdict, a scorei of women jumped to their feet, clapping. The Chief Justice (Sir J. A. Northmore) was unable to make himself heard, and ordered the gallery to be cleared. This was done, after prolonged uproar. Mollor was ordered to be detained during the Governor’s plefisuie.
