EXTRADITION SOUGHT
EVIDENCE FOR ENGLAND. (Per Press Association). AVELLINGTON, May 31. To extradite from England Ernest Mabin Gilmour, a New Zealand company manager, arrested in London on a charge of 'obtaining £2OO by false pretences in AVellington in 1930, it is necessary) that a full copy of the evidence should be sent to England, and the taking of this commenced before Mr E. Page, S.M., to-day. The chief witness is the liquidator of the Craftsman Manufacturing Co/' Detective-Sergeant Jarrold lias gone to Melbourne to bring back Charles Ernest Vickers, Australian company promoter, who was arrested, in Melbourne on a charge of obtaining £IOOO at Alanaia by a false representation in regard to the Craftsman Alanufacturing Co. It is not necessary to take evidence at this stage on the charge against Vickers.
