"CUT" RESTORED.
AUCKLAND DRAINAGE BOARD. NO DISCUSSION ON MOTION. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, May 30. "That the cut of 10 per cent, in the salaries and wages imposed, by resolution on May 21 and June 17, 1931, shall be restored as from April 1, 1934, on £250 of the salary, or wages of each employee" was a resolution proposed by the chairman (Mr G. W. Hutchison) and carried unanimously at this morning's meeting of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board when the estimates of revenue and expenditure for the current year were under consideration. . "Any discussion?" asked the chairman when the resolution was moved. There was no discussion.
