TWO NEW ZEALANDERS ENTER. LONG-DISTANCE PIONEER ALSO. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Additional entries in the Melbourne Centenary air race include Messrs Waugh and Everson, of New Zealand, and Lieutenant H. Parer, the second man to fly from England to Australia. Parer was accompanied by Lieutenant Mcintosh.
EIGHT MORE ENTRIES RECEIVED (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, May jBO. The Aero Club has received a further eight entries for the Melbourne Centenary air race. It is not releasing details at present, but Sir Charles Kingsford Smith is not yet included.

TO USE AMERICAN PLANE. (Received This Day, 11.35 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Air Race Committee has received Sir Charles Kingsford Smith's entry for both the speed and handicap races. He will fly an American Lock-heed-Altair.
NO ART UNION PERMIT.
NEW, ZEALAND ENTRY. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, May 30. A report published in.an Auckland newspaper 'that authority had been given for the issue of a permit for holding an art union to assist in financing New Zealand's entry in the Melbourne Centenary Air Race was. contradicted by the Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. J. A. Young) today, i , The Minister said that representations had been made to him recently by the Aucklnd committee which had concerned itself with the raising oi funds to secure New Zealand representation in the race, but up to the present no permit to hold an art union had been granted.'
