SEARCHERS STILL OUT
IN THE MOUNTAIN RANGES. (Per Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Though the two Canterbury College trampers—Messrs Lysaght and Mason —have returned to the city, searchers are still in the mountains unaware of the fact. Five from the Canterbury side left for Park Morpeth hut yesterday, to go down the Wilberforce River.. These may reach Gienthorne Station, near Coleridge, to-night. ' A West Coast party is also combing the -ranges, and no word has yet been got through to them. The cost of the search is estimated at £4O. As student funds cannot meet this bill, an appeal is being made to the public. Mr J. C. Mercer, the aeroplane pilot, searched 'the region yesterday, and is now delayed at Holdtika owing to bad weather.
