At a meeting of the North German Lloyd Line at Bremen, . the chairman said that the losses in the last year were £2,154,000. It was estimated that in 1934 there would bo a loss of £2,300,000 as a result of the devaluation of the pound and dollar. He said they would he able to reach a pacify ing solution of world, trade only when currencies were stable, Government subsidies stopped, and they can return to natural private competition.
