BOXING.
ROSS BEATS McLARNIN. NEW YORK, May 28. At Madison Square Garden, Barney Ross (Chicago), light-weight champion, became a double title-holder when he gained the decision over Jimmy McLarnin (Vancouver), British Columbia welter-weight champion, in a bout of 15 rounds to-night. The judges disagreed and the referee decided for Ross. There were 65,000 spectators.
