PERSONAL.
At a meeting of the committee _of the Ashburton Girl Guide Association on Monday afternoon Mrs C. M. Innes was elected president in succession to Mrs 0. M. Pinfold, who has resigned following her removal to Christchurch.
Mr W. Jones-, who for the last 12 years has been connected with the stock department of the National Mortgage and Agency Company, Ltd., at Ashburton and Methven, will leave to-morrow on transfer to Leeston. He was presented with a Westminster clock by Mr W. Williamson (manager) on behalf of the Ashburton staff last evening.
