MINIATURE RIFLES.
THE METHVEN CLUB. There was a good attendance of members at the weekly shoot of the Methven Miniature Rifle Club, and the Club trophy was keenly competed for. The best scores were as follows, the handicaps being given in parentheses: T. Middleton 67 (4), 63, 66; W. R, Law 65 (2), 62, 65; C. Black 66 (7), 66: J. Roiise6s(4); J. E. Carr 67 (2) ; H. Noble 68 (1); A. Hmton 60 (8); M. Holland 67 (1); R, L. Haskett 63 (3). In the final shoot-off T. Middleton was the winner. A trophy presented by Messrs Thomson and Owers was competed for, but the shoot-off is not completed. The following are the best scores :> G. Haddington 65 (5), J. E. Carr 69 (2) M. 'Holland 69 (1). T. Middleton 66 (4), D. Harrison 61 (10), J. Rouse 65 (4), H. Noble 67 (1), C. Black 60 (7), R, L. Haskett 64 (B),'W. R. Law 62 (5), A. Hinton 59 (8). The shoot-oft will be fired this week. . ' The Hottv Button was won by M. Holland with a possible of 70. Other good scores were: J. E. Carr 69. M. Noble 67, J. Anderson 67 T. Middleton 66, J. Rouse 65, G. Haddington 65.
