WRIST ACTION. "The importance of wrist action in the golf swing has been vastly overrated," declares Charles Herndon in' "Golling." "As a matter of fact the wrists play a very minor role. But whatever their movements may be there is little you can do by voluntary effort that will improve upon Nature's ways. Forget your wrists and swing your club with an easy smoothly accelerated movement. If your swing as a whole is. correct the delicate wrist movements will come at the right times and places in the swing—without your conscious thought of direction."
WALKER CUP TEAM CAPTAIN.,
HON. MICHAEL SCOTT. The Hon. Michael Scott, who. captained the British team in the recent Walker Cup contest, Avon so easily by the Americans, is 55 years of age and incidentally was the oldest player ever to participate in such a contest.
