MEN'S SUB>-ASSQCIATiON
THE JUNIOR. COMPETITION. A meeting'of the Management Committee of the Mid-Canterbury Men's Hockey Sub-Association was held last evening, the president (Mr E. M. Gabites) occupying the chair. _ It was decided to extend the closing date for entries for the junior competition until June 6, the competition to commence on June 9. ' t Teams were entered in the junior and third grades of the five-a-side competition in Chrlstchurch on June 4, and the appointment of a manager was left in the hands of the secretary (Mr S. W. Gower). . . It • was decided that the winning team in the second game each Saturday should be responsible for the return of all material used. Draw for Second! Round. The draw for the second round,of the senior competition is as follows: — June 2—Ashburton v. St. Andrew s; St. Stephen's v. Baring Square. June 9—Ashburton v. St. Stephen s; St. Andrew's v. Baring Square. June 16—Ashburton v. ' Barmg Square; St. Andrew's v. St. Stephen's. THE TINWALD CLUB. The following will represent the Tinwald Women's Hockey Club at the seven-a-side tournament at Oamaru on June 4:— . ' * Amy Loach, Mascotte Chapman, Kura Chapman, Phyllis Baker, Fay Gudsell, Jean Parsons, Noreen Loach and Irene Haack.
