Mr W. Bryant left' by the southbound express train this morning to attend a meeting of the Waipiata Sanatorium Committee at Dunedin. Wreaths from the chairman and membeis of the Ashburton County Council and from the Coldstream subbranch of tliei Plunke s t Society were sent to Christchurch yesterday for the funeral of the late Lieutenant-Colonel JohnStudholme, C.8.E., D.S.O.
