STILL AT LARGE.
SEARCH BY POLICE AND WARDERS. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, May 27. No further trace has been seen of the prisoner, Bernard Charles Allan Cole, aged .30, who escaped from the Waikeria Borstal Institution last Tuesday. The police, assisted by prison warders, continued the search on Saturday and to-day, but their efforts were unsuccessful. Cole's companion, Frank Robert Baker, aged 21, who was recaptured by three constables about 10 miles south of Hamilton on Friday, appeared before Mr S. L. Patterson, S.M., in the Hamilton Magistrate's Court on a charge of converting a. motor-car to his own use. • Accused was remanded until Friday. It was stated that other charges would bo preferred against him.
