MISS JEAN BATTEN.
DIFFICULT FLYING.
DELAY IN REACHING SYDNEY. United Press Association —Copyright) BRISBANE, May 25. Miss Jean Batten arrived at- Camooweal at 5 p.m. after a difficult flight against head winds. She will continue to-morrow to Charlevillp. It is not yet settled wdiether she will fly to Brisbane, which will be determined by living conditions. There is great disappointment in Sydney that Miss Batten is not likely to reach Sydney on Sunday as elaborate preparations had been made to give her a rousing w elcoine, led by the Aero Club, which was providing an escort of many aeroplanes.
