MONEY TO FOUND NEWSPAPER. (United Press Association—Copyright) ..MELBOURNE, May 23. The High Court has delivered judgment in an important will case relating to a gift of shares as the nucleus of a fund for the establishment of a Catholic daily newspaper. The testator was Mr Patrick Lawlor, who died in Rome in 1932, leaving estate worth £IOB,OOO. The court irpheld the decision of N the State Full Court that the gift of shares' for a newspaper was not a valid gift for charitable purposes. The court also held that a grant of one-half of the balance of Mr Lawlor's estate to the Catholic hierarchy was invalid., .''"-.■/
