The committee of the Australian Jockey ClSb has decided that the practice of branding a hoof of horses visiting Australia shall not be permitted to continue after May 31. WINOOKA (DEFEATED. (Received This Dav, 1.50 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 24. Winooka made a poor showing in the Washington Park Handicap at Chicago, finishing eighth in a field of nine ordinary class horses. The race resulted: Isaiah 1, Some Pomp 2, Advising Anna 3. The distance was six furlongs. Time, 1.12. Isaiah is a four-year-old.
