ASHBURTON WOMEN'S CLUB. A sealed hole bogey match was played by members of the women's section of the Ashburton Golf Club yesterday, and was won by Miss A. Amos. The best cards were:— Miss A. Amos 3 down. Mrs J. M. Mcßae 5 down. Mrs J. B. Nicoll 6 down. Miss J. Lane 7 down. ASHBURTON v. LEESTON. The following will represent the Ashr burton Golf Club in its match against Leeston at Ashburton during the week-end: — C. J. Bonnington, L. E. Carter. I. M. Hamilton, R. J. Tucker, J. Sinclair, R. W. Orr, S. H. Truman, L. B. Mace and J. E. Carter. Members of the women's section of the club who will take part in the match are: — Miss E. Millichamp, Mrs H. Thompson, Mrs E. B. Condell, Miss A. Madden, Mi ss A- I- Litten and Miss A. Amos.
QUEENSLAND OPEN TITLE. BRISBANE,. May 24. The open golf championship _of Queensland was won by James Ferrier, of Sydney, who played wonderful golf. His four rounds were 76, 68., 73, 69, totalling 286.
