MILK FOR BRITAIN.
MARKETING BOARD ACTIVE. HUGE INDUSTRY HANDLED. (United Tress Association—-Copyright). LONDON, October 11. Although it has operated only since last Friday, the Milk Marketing Board, which controls,the production and sale of Britain's milk supply under a pooling system, announced that it has-al-ready contracted for the sale of all milk to be produced in. Britain for the next six months. About 1,000,000,000 gallons yearly will be handled by the Board when the scheme is in full operation. The milk is valued at between £50,000.000 and £60,000,000.
