MR BRUCE'S POSITION

Referring to reports that he will shortly become* High Commissioner for Australia, Mv S. M. Bruce stated last night tflut the question of the continuance of the arrangement under which he, as a member of the Federal Ministry of Australia, has been representing the Commonwealth in Britain, has been under discussion in view of the fact that various matters he lias been handling in London necessitated his remaining away from Australia for an extended period. Ho added that no decision had yet been reached.— British Official Wireless.
