THREE-BOWL PAIRS MATCHES WELLINGTON, This Day. An endeavour was made at a meeting to persuade the Wellington Bowling Centre to reverse its decision to play the centre pairs championship with three bowls per player and to return to the old system of four bowls. The decision ended in the three-bowl game being sustained by a substantial majority.
