Perkins (Minister for the Interior) says that though the Groote Eylandt mission people do not fear trouble with the Arnhem Land natives Colonel Weddell, Administrator of the Northern Territory, does, and it is by bis advice that the party of police is being sent. Colonel AVeddell, in a report, stated that certain natives believed that the missionaries were responsible for betraying them to the police, and were determined upon revenge.
