Several members of the Ashburton Badminton Club have entered for the Canterbury championships which will be decided at Christchurch to-morrow, oil Friday and on Saturday. The draw for the matches in which Ashburton competitors are taking part is as follows : Championship Events. Men's Singles.—First round : Crooks v. Kinvig. Second round: Hobbs v. winner of Crooks v. Kinvig. Women's Singles.—Second round: Miss Amos v. Miss Hood. Men's Doubles. Second round : A'Court and Pumphrey v. Agar and Gilchrist, Small and Bell-Syer v. Crooks and Hobbs. Women's Doubles. First round: Misses Edmonds and Goss v. Amos and Porter. , Combined Doubles.—First round: Miss Amos and Crooks v. Miss Readman and Vaughan, Miss Porter and Hobbs v. Miss Goss and Pumphrey. Handicap Events. Men's Singles.—Second round : Farrant v. Crooks, Hobbs v. Morris, Gilchrist v. Giblett. Women's Singles.—Second round: Miss Spooner v. Miss Porter,. Miss Hcod v. Miss Amos.
