The President of the Dail (Mr Eamon de Valera) conferred with Labourites and discussed the speeding up of unemployment housing and other legislation, also the "most effective means of meeting the British attack on the economic life of the nation." Afterwards Mr de Valera announced that Labour had decided to support the Government. An early election is not likely.
