BETTER WAGES.
SUGGESTED LABOUR CAMPAIGN. (United Press Association-Copyright). LONDON, August 28. The “Daily Express” says that a nation-wide campaign for better wages will he a critical issue at the Trade ; Union Congress to be held at Brighton / next week. “Two million woikeis who bore their share of the depression are demanding a share in the proceeds of the industrial revival,” the newspaper states. “The repercussions of President Roosevelt’s experiment are spreading to Britain.”
