DAIRY PRODUCE.
INCREASE IN GRADINGS, WELLINGTON, August 7. The grading figures of the Dairy Division of the Department-of Agriculture for the 12 months ended July 31 show an increase for butter of 22.63 per cent, at 12,799 tons (compared with 104,211 tons last year) ; and for cheese an increase of 14.52 per cent, at 100,998 tons (compared with 88,194 tons). Reduced to terms of butterfat equivalent, there was for the 12 months an increase of 20.354 per cent, over the previous year.
