A telegram from Chicago states that 1000 high school students, continuing what* the teachers called, “the spring fever walk-out,” defied squads ox police to-day, and, loft their classes with threats that they would not return until the teachers were paid me wages that are overdue. In several schools the teachers pleaded with the students to remain. The principals stood in the corridors and exits, but the students disregarded them..
