LONDON TO CAPE TOWN FLIGHT. CAPTATN LANCASTER’S PLANS. (United Press Association—Copyright). LONDON, April 5. The “Daily Express” states that Captain G. R. Lancaster will shortly attempt to break Airs Mollison’s London to Cape Town record, as a means of putting himself right with the world. His parents are financing the scheme. He will use- the Southern Cross Minor, which Sir Charles Kings-ford-Smith used on his flight from Australia to England. Captain Lancaster proposes to have five hours’ sleep on each of the firstthree nights, and after that to be content with one hour nightly.
